Tim Hoang holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He is a pioneer in diversity and inclusion management with 8 years of experience in culture research. He specializes in human behavior, team dynamics, cultural leadership, and negotiation and conflict resolution.At age 25, Tim co-owned this first venture, a Vietnamese restaurant located in the nation's capital. This small business has gone through three expansions, featured in Forbes (2011), and has grown into an enterprise employing over 40 staff. Tim achieved this with minimal asset and all while attending graduate school full time. Tim's greatest achievement was when he co-founded the Mid-Atlantic Union of Vietnamese Student Associations (MAUVSA), a non-profit alliance of college-based organization that assists in empowering, developing, and fostering cultural awareness and diversity in young leaders and professionals in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States.Currently, Tim is finishing up his Doctorate of Philosophy degree (PhD) in Business Psychology with a concentration on management consulting. His doctorate research examines diversity in leadership and its successful impact on multinational companies. Tim’s lifelong endeavor involves building leadership models to enhance diversity programs throughout the nation and to make a positive impact in the world.
