About Timothy Hoffman
I have a passion for helping others and making a difference in communities through my work. I graduated from Seton Hall University with a Master's in Public Administration in May 2016 after completing my B.A. in Political Science in 2015 at Seton Hall. After graduation, I began working for Seton Hall's Center for Community Research and Engagement as the Project Coordinator and quickly stepped into the Director role, where I led service-learning programs and community and civic engagement efforts. I wore many hats during my long tenure at Seton Hall - undergraduate student, graduate student, administrator, and full-time faculty member. I now have the pleasure of serving in local government as the Assistant Business Administrator for the Township of Millburn. I also teach at Seton Hall as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Political Science and Political Affairs. I am also committed to service in my local community as I served six years as a member of the Hackensack Board of Education after being elected at age 19. I had the privilege of serving as Vice President of the BOE from 2018-2019. I now serve on a nonprofit board as part of the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Bergen County.
