The projects are designed and delivered using an Alliance model. As Director, Engineering Management, I am focused on leading the specialty Engineering teams for all 5 Alliances, as well ensuring the strategic and operational success of our central Engineering Function across the full program.

I joined Rheinmetall Australia as the Vehicle Engineering Manager for the Boxer Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle Program. This leadership role drives the Australian Engineering Effort for this major capability delivery for the Australian Army. Growing a Local Engineering & Design capability for such a complex platform is a great technical and team challenge. I also lead roll-out of key processes and our continuous improvement program across our team of ~240 expert engineers, utilising key CI approachs like lean and co-design.

I was responsible for Lean Culture, Mindset and Application across all Jaguar Land Rover UK & EU Operations. I drove best practice for Lean / Agile at all levels, with a specific focus on alignment and leadership. Training to build a linked up capability and application to ensure lasting outcomes were critical. I trained and coached cohorts ranging from Senior Executives to frontline supervision through Leadership Development programs that grew mindset, problem solving, culture and performance outcomes.The role also saw me lead Lean / Agile Improvement Projects and Workshops with cross functional teams as well as developing strategy for and implementation of a culture of Continuous Improvement.

Direct interface with the executive team to develop and implement strategic direction and performance, including training and mentoring in improvement skills and capability at all levels of the organisation. My role saw me working closely with key suppliers and Commonwealth and Navy team members.Program Manager Leading Transformational Change programs - managed the suite of 20+ coordinated improvement projects to reduce submarine deep maintenance duration by more than 35%, with similar levels of cost reduction. All results demonstrated as meeting or exceeding goals on HMAS FARNCOMB Full Cycle Docking.Highly trained and experienced in coaching, problem solving, training, process improvement and change delivery.

Technical and Team Leader, responsible for class leadership NVH outcomes for major vehicle platforms including Ford Ranger, Mazda BT-50, Ford Falcon and Ford Territory. Led a team of 14 experts delivering NVH for the Mazda BT-50 and Ford Ranger joint program. Program kick-off to launch responsible for vehicle design and content to deliver leadership levels of NVH. Cross Cultural teamwork with Mazda Engineering team and global manufacturing / customer base. During this time, I was also trained and certified as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
