I am an agricultural and environmental scientist with more than 25 years experience in soil and water science, grain crop agronomy and natural resource management in the high rainfall zones of south-eastern Australia. Involved in the coordination of the successful Vic DPI 'Soil Health' extension program in southern Victoria (2006-12), I am passionate about promoting more sustainable Australian agricultural systems through improved soil and water management. • Extensive experience in research project development, management and leadership.• 25 years experience in soil and water science and grain crop agronomy, with particular emphasis on the management of waterlogged soils and soil health.• 20 years experience in dryland raised bed cropping systems and sound knowledge of the soil environment and natural resource management issues in south-west Victoria.• 15 years experience in extension of soil health messages to farmer audiences.• Excellent communication skills through the successful extension of research results.• I have a BAgSci (LaTrobe University, Melbourne) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Climate Change for Primary Industries (The Uni of Melbourne). • I have pride in my work and the quality of the tasks he undertakes.• I am highly organised and well regarded as a hard and enthusiastic worker.
