I work with the owners of family and closely held businesses, corporate executives, professionals, and other successful individuals and families, as well as their other advisors to develop and implement plans to meet the clients’ business succession, wealth transfer, retirement, asset protection and estate planning goals. I also represent executors, trustees and other fiduciaries responsible for the administering estates, trusts, or a principal’s financial resources. I have significant experience advising clients on the administration of estates which hold and in some cases operate a business. In addition, I am a business lawyer for the equine industry, and advise and represent equine business owners and professionals in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In contrast to many attorneys in this area my focus is to be proactive, reduce risk and protect clients before problems arise. This includes prudent planning, strong contracts, and practical advise to avoid conflict.Specialties: I concentrate my legal practice in the areas business planning and transactions, estate planning, trust and estate administration, and business law for the equine industry.
