I care about facilitating people's understanding of themselves & of others through the knowledge and wisdom of psychology. In my job, I consult for companies, supporting them in areas like personnel assessment and leadership development. Furthermore, I am internally responsible for innovation and psychometrics, trying to use modern technologies towards the aim of increasing understanding and humaneness in organizations.During my bachelor studies, I conducted research on the dark core of personality and on individual differences in honesty/humility - and am now specializing in neuroscience and research methods for my M.Sc. Currently, I am writing my thesis on using pupil size analysis to assess the impact of empathy on observational fear learning. For the last 2.5 years I have been deepening my interest in data science through being part of a student consultancy. Here I held a leadership position as head of the HR department and have been involved in a variety of data science projects. In order to further follow my analytical interests I completed a summer school on computational neuroscience and enrolled for a second degree in mathematics starting Oct. 2023.Other current interests lie in philosophy, consciousness research and humanistic psychology. The latter interest also led me to become certified as a Positive Leadership Coach & Consultant (PERMA-Lead).
