As the Head of Accounting at Roschier, I was responsible for overseeing the entire finance function. This includes accounting, financial reporting, accounts payable, travel & expenses, cash management, tax planning and reporting, as well as finance development in three legal entities across two countries. I had 13 direct reports and reported directly to the CFO.

As the Head of Accounting, Tax and Travel at Fujitsu, I was responsible for financial reporting, taxation and travel function. I was responsible for month-end and year-end closing processes, external audits, J-SOX compliance, M&A accounting, IFRS, financial statements and tax matters. As part of my daily responsibilities, I engaged with the centralized processes of Fujitsu's shared services and wider EMEA organization. I was a finance management team member with three direct reports. I reported directly to the Head of Finance for Europe. The primary systems and tools in use were SAP and HFM.

As the Financial Controller at SEB, I was responsible for financial reporting for SEB Branch and SEB Leasing Oy. I gained experience in both domestic and cross-border VAT issues and specialized in VAT issues relating to financial services. I was responsible for month-end and year-end closing processes, as well as preparation and coordination for external audits. As part of my daily responsibilities, I engaged with the centralized processes of SEB's shared services and wider Global finance organization. The primary systems and tools utilized were Bank's own in-house tools.

As the Senior Associate at Deloitte, I had the opportunity to work on external audit engagements both as a Group and Component auditor under FAS and IFRS. My responsibilities included planning and supervision of audit engagements, mentoring and coaching audit associates and interns, maintaining proactive contacts with clients throughout the year, working on the design of audit approach, and conducting substantive audit fieldwork.

Responsible for external audit activities of assigned SMEs that spanned multiple industries. Mostly under FAS.Nexia Oy is a part of Nexia International, the ninth largest chain of auditing firms in the world.
