Serving others is at the core of who I am, and it is central to my journey in healthcare.When I was ten years old, grandfather died of a heart attack. I can vividly remember the trauma and asking ’why?’ I felt helpless. The life-altering event awoke my passion for the healthcare field and compelled me to pursue a life focused on fitness, well-being and helping others. As I chased my fitness goals, I went on become a Division 1 College Track Athlete and Team Captain. Meanwhile, my dedication to helping people drew me to the Marines. As an Air Defense Control Officer, I was trained in leadership and traveled extensively. During my military career, I sought to give back by training Marines who could not pass the physical fitness test. The pharmaceutical field attracted me because of the good I could bring to so many patients and the lives I could positively impact. I joined Pfizer Inc. because of their broader mission to bring healthcare solutions to patients on a grander scale. At Pfizer, I have excelled as a proven performer in sales, sales leadership, operations, marketing and key account management. Throughout my journey, I’ve also continued to serve others by volunteering and fundraising for Big Brothers, The Arthritis Foundation, Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Marine Corps Scholarship Fund and coaching a high school cross-country team to a state championship. As the Key Account Director in Pfizer Rare Diseases, I collaborate with key Integrated Delivery Networks to assist them in building awareness, suspecting, detecting and treating Cardiac Amyloidosis (ATTR-CM), a very rare form of heart failure. As I continue my journey at Pfizer, I look forward to making a difference in the lives of patients by bringing these critical healthcare solutions to the people who need them the most.
