  We started out as a business called Granite Building Products where I started out as yardman/ delivery driver. Duties included unloading trucks stocking and organizing the wharehouse,pulling and loading delivery orders and delivering the orders to various job sites arround a 200 mile radius of the Spokane area.I was promoted to Yard forman /Lead driver with in the first year were I was tasked with hireing new yard help and drivers. I was also involved with vehicle purchaces. As we began to grow from a single branch with 6 people and 2 trucks to an organization with 3 branches in 2 states and the staff grew to more than 50 people and 18 vehicles I ws asked to assume the position of operations manager. My duties were to oversee the day to day operation of te incomming and outgoing product and manage the delivery crew. Making sure that the drivers and vehicles were in compliance withall state and federal regulations.Sceduling delivery times and checking orders to insure that the orders were correct.My job also included all aspects of the vehicle licensing and tax reporting. We were aquired by Convoy supply and we grew substantually adding 4 more branches and increasing our delivery area to include 5 western states Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana and N. Dakota. We also increased the fleet size from 18 vehicles to 65 trucks 23 trailers and a fleet of sales vehicles. It soon became apparent that we needed a transportation manager to over see the fleet operations and saftey. I was asked to fill that role. That is where I an today
