Starting at Northwestern in 2014, I served as Project Manager for the National Children's Study, an endeavor as challenging as it was intriguing(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Children%27s_Study). I was brought on to facilitate new technology development and coordinate electronic data collection from across the study. Provided leadership, oversight, and management of multiple key mobile and web applications in support of organizational area’s strategic objectives and ongoing operations. Significantly contributed to various projects simultaneously creating more efficient organizational solutions. Created a more robust structure and organization to execute strict time and action guidelines. Developed processes and systems to improve workload efficiencies and timing of deliverables. Worked to maintain focus and execution while encouraging innovative thinking and ideas. Following the conclusion of the NCS I transitioned into a different role at Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine. I continued managing tech teams, working on development and research, but also expanded my work into shaping the business processes surrounding my teams. In the winter of 2016 my group saw the release of its first major product: the NIH Toolbox. The NIH Toolbox quickly became the highest grossing medical app in iTunes. Following the release of The Toolbox, subsequent products like the PROMIS App have been developed and released to also see similar success across clinical and research settings.
