The accuracy of calibration improved from 15% at 1000 ppm to 5%.+ Proposed specific, targetted, design and process changes following forensic analysis of a critical module that was being scrapped when it failed first test (rework was impossible at the test point). When implemented together, the scrap rate dropped from 24% to less than 1%.+ Proposed and implemented design changes for cost reduction that resulted in savings circa £60k in the first year, on the main, common assembly module.
