Throughout my life, I've developed a strong passion for building and precision work. Growing up in Chicago, my early fascination with cars and hands-on experiences with my dad fueled my love for mechanics and construction. I was that kid who could spend hours crafting intricate structures with Legos and K'nex.Seeking personal growth and challenges, I made a significant decision at the age of 20 and joined the Marines, becoming a 2871 TMDE Marine. This experience not only shaped my character but also provided me with valuable lessons and formal training in metrology.Later in life, I took on the role of a full-time parent, cherishing the years spent with my son during my wife's Navy career. We seized the opportunity to embark on memorable camping adventures across the country during her deployments.As my life evolved, I followed my lifelong dream of becoming a skilled TIG welder. I completed a workforce training program and began welding pipe on LHA8, an experience I'll always cherish. Subsequently, I expanded my skill set as a millwright, learning new trades and gaining valuable expertise. Although I enjoyed the work, the extended time away from home led me to explore other opportunities.One such opportunity involved for me to focus on improving my soldering skills. Returning to WPI, I've grown into a versatile fitter/welder, always eager to learn new skills and improve existing ones.I'm now seeking a company that shares my values in quality, not just in the work they produce but also in how they treat their employees. My diverse experiences have shaped me into a dedicated, adaptable, and skilled professional ready to contribute to the right team.
