Anarchotechnocrat.I've been devoted to Linux since 2008, at first cutting my teeth on multiple distros such as Linux From Scratch, Debian and Arch Linux, while teaching myself about system administration, programming & scripting with Bash, C, Awk, Sed, autotools and all their other friends. Later I became highly fluent with Git, OpenSSH, iptables, networking, OpenStack operations, CI/CD with Gerrit + Jenkins, infrastructure-as-code with Puppet, and cybersecurity. I have contributed upstream to OpenStack and in my spare time I am the lead maintainer of GNU Datamash. I have released numerous small software projects under free licenses.In the workplace, I bring a can-do attitude and aspire to excellence in all things. When something needs doing, I make it happen. When there is a problem that needs solving, I solve it. I aim to understand as much as possible as deeply as possible, and this curiosity is backed up by being a fast learner. I get along well with others and enjoy collaborating with a wide variety of personalities on a wide variety of challenges. I am passionate about clear writing and often become the go-to person for proof reading and contributing to documentation and communications.In my spare time I enjoy reading, film, video games, music and tabletop roleplaying games such as Dungeons & Dragons.
