Key Responsibilities: Oversee NPD activities first in Cleaning Systems (Pressure Washers) and then in Alternative Power (Li-ion Batteries) to drive market penetration and increase platform margin dollars. Provide project management leadership oversight functions for new product development (NPD) projects including: creating and maintaining development schedules, executing product development plans (product cost, resources to complete project, quality targets, product specification adherence, development and execution of product verification test plans, product introduction, etc.), and interfacing with cross-functional company personnel. Work within SAP to determine Material Master file setup; monitor and track sales orders; initiate PPAPs and appropriate deviations for Contract Manufactured components and finished goods. Engage and establish close relationships with sub suppliers and/or Contract Manufacturers during development and production to ensure timely delivery of components and finished goods.Accomplishments:- Launched new line of Electric Pressure Washers from a completely ground-up design in order to recapture market placement and drive higher margins.- Improved cost margin on highest volume Gas Pressure Washer model in order to bring back nearly $2M in profitability.- Coordinated Li-ion battery pack development and manufacturing line installation for new product line
