Maintains the Gray Eagle and Shadow UAS simulators used to train our nation's warfighters.

Enhances warfighter and National Systems for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) capabilities by supporting the successful development of imagery capabilities through imagery standards conformance testing and evaluation.• Led lab efforts in support of XLOE, a NGA exercise to demonstrate, test, evaluate and assess the interoperability of cross- domain solutions (CDS) services in DoD distributed Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance planning and direction, collection, processing and exploitation, analysis and dissemination systems. Timely produced results detailing the interoperability capabilities of the CDS services. Results utilized by NGA and technology developers to enhance the capabilities of the CDS services demonstrated at XLOE.• Collaborated with engineering to develop software capable of correctly modifying Motion Imagery containing Motion Imagery Standards Board Standard 0601 Key-Length-Variable metadata. Efforts streamlined process from days to minutes.Designed a more robust test suite to enhance Motion Imagery Standard Profile compliance testing capabilities.

Supported the development and operations of hyper-spectral sensors systems for use in an array of applications.• Tirelessly worked with teammates to integrate a new sensor, proprietary software, Linux and Windows-based computers, and network gear into a twin-engine Piper Navajo for commercial agricultural imaging. Worked remotely with leadership and technical personnel to bypass challenges, and kept the system operating cross-country while meeting a rigorous schedule.• With new concepts in mind and prototype Windows-based ground sensor system in hand, timely completed Government test requirements. Took system to an austere environment, worked around newly discovered software and equipment problems to help deliver results. Collaborated with engineering to increase system readiness, reliability, and usability.

Functioned in support of Counter Improvised Explosive Device efforts in Afghanistan aboard Aerial Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (A-ISR) aircraft.• Operates hyperspectral, high-resolution frame and Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) Motion Imagery payloads to gather and process data. • Uses integrated payload control & analysis software, radio, satellite & network communications equipment, chat clients, FTP file management software and other equipment to enhance situational awareness and satisfy objectives.• Uses specialized software, Google Earth and other software to plan and oversee mission direction and coordination to insure effective target identification, characterization and reporting.

Provided unmanned aerial system (UAS) operations, maintenance, technical consulting and customer support aboard a US Navy guided missile destroyer for A-ISR in a maritime environment. • Piloted UAS, operated and maintained EO/IR Motion Imagery payloads, specialized sensors and Automatic Identification System (AIS) equipment

Performed Moving Pictures Experts Group MPEG-2/MPEG-4/H.264 and Key-Length-Variable (KLV) metadata standards conformance testing, analysis and reporting on video products produced by video compression and decompression equipment.• Created test plans; collected and analyzed data, and produced final reports on time.

Piloted UAS, performed equipment maintenance and provided technical advice in support of A-ISR operations.

Sustained operations of 22 Shadow200 Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TUAV) simulators at the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Training Battalion (UASTB) Center. Performed all maintenance and upgrades. Shipped and received parts. Maintained inventory. Generated and distributed reports to management and UAV program office. Communicated daily with Dept. of Army Civilians and Warfighters.
