AGPS Field Test Engineer Test pre-production wireless devices for E911 A-GPS functionality in live network conditions in the greater San Francisco area. As an A-GPS Field Engineer I setup a test station at predetermined locations such that four to eight test devices are tested at once. Analyze and process log file to determine the pass/fail criteria. Support engineers with testing in other market as needed.• Perform A-GPS E911 Accuracy Testing per published test plan at multiple stationary test points.• Perform data benchmark testing per test plan for various carriers. • Troubleshoot issues related to device, laptop, script and tools on site as required.• Monitor the real time performance of the testing, ensuring data collected is accurate and the test runs smoothly.• Manage resulting log files which include reviewing for accuracy, content, post-processing and uploading to central server.• Manage test vehicle and other equipment on-site. Executed CDG3 and customers test plans for customer acceptance. Provided technical support as an on-site engineer for Virgin Mobile USA where I assisted in all phases of their acceptance testing. Assembled all Night-hunter ONE flashlights. Tested and focused all head assemblies to insure maximum range of light beam. Field test finished products to confirm maximum range and usability. Built test circuits and test fixtures for the assembly of the Night-hunter ONE. Assisted in writing test documents and assembly instruction for the Night-hunter ONE. I also, inspected and prepped cases for assembly. Trained new employees on all assembly procedures and testing.
