My background is in Elementary Education and Recreational programs and I have been with Washoe County School District for seven years serving my community by assisting in team-oriented programs such as TEAM Up 21st Century and AmeriCorps Summer VISTA Programs to improve the critical needs of education supervising youth, youth development, teaching/tutoring, community organization, team work, and leadership. My role is to support teaching staff in providing individual and group instruction, including developing and maintaining records and instructional record materials. Exemplary duties/responsibilities involve preparing lesson plans and various teaching outlines; presenting subject matter to students utilizing a variety of teaching techniques with traditional/non-traditional educational settings assist students individually or in groups with lessons.I am an educator where my passion for education can promote student excellence. My purpose is to educate and empower children and young adults of diverse populations.
