Developed a BI Platform for internal and external reporting to help find opportunities for process improvement. I also worked with dozens of clients to map out current and future state workflows, and worked with development teams to integrate and automate wherever possible.

Led a sales team ranging from 4-8 people in regions across the country, focused on new business development and existing account management. Our trusted advisor approach to sales led to genuine relationships with our clients and helped our top line revenue grow almost 200% during this period.

-Created the strategy and plan to train over 1700 end users globally and led 9 weeks of live classroom training for 160 engineers at a car parts manufacturer in Ohio.-Led a team of 8 and developed a testing plan as part of a system implementation at a large utility in Pennsylvania-Developed methods for project tracking and visibility for the IT Department at a large utility in the state of Michigan.

Led two weekly lab sessions for a sophomore-level Probability & Statistics course. Awarded the “Graduate Student Instructor of the Year” Award in the Industrial & Operations Engineering Department at the University of Michigan

Masters-level engineering courses included Performance Measurement, Lean Manufacturing, and Management Theory. Also took MBA courses in Consulting for Operations, Management Presentations, Interpersonal Skills, and Change Management at the Ross School of Business.

Part of the Tauber Institute of Global Operations at the University of Michigan, this internship was focused on applying lean manufacturing principles to the front-end of the investment casting process. We used Kanban, value-stream mapping, and kaizen techniques to reduce costs and wasted time in the process.

This internship took place in the Sales & Operations Planning group in the Global Prepaid division of American Express. The main focus of the project was to streamline the re-supply request process and increase the visibility of on-hand inventory at each distribution outlet.

Created and finalized PhotoPlan packages including photos & floor plans

Implemented a quantitative decision tree to easily determine which materials to keep in stock. Established re-order points and re-order quantities to cut down on back-ordered materials as well as excessive inventory.
