Director of the Special Operations Center of Excellence Directorate of Training, Doctrine and Proponency. Oversees the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of ARSOF training and doctrine programs into the Army and Joint communities. Responsiblefor force modernization focused on personnel life cycle function and implementing of personnel plans, programs, and policies for SF, CA, and PO. Supervises four subordinate divisions to manage the integration of the ARSOF Doctrine, Operational, Training, Material, Leadership, and Proponency (DOTML-P). Senior Adviser assigned to the Office of Security Cooperation - Iraq (OSC-I), United States Embassy. Leads, develops and synchronizes the efforts of a combined team of 24 U.S. Special Operations Forces personnel, plus 10 linguists and cultural advisers. Advised and mentored the Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service (CTS) on all aspects of training, equipping, education, resourcing, and logistics through Security Cooperation and Security Assistance activities in support of the Chief, OSC-I and the Chief of Mission, U.S. Embassy Baghdad. Served as the principal U.S. senior military adviser to the Iraqi CTS. Provided military guidance and recommendations with regards to strategic planning, internal organizational processes, internal stability and interaction with the United States and its regional allies. Provided critical observations and recommendations to the Chief of OSC-I and the Chief of Mission, Iraq, with regard to the security situation within Iraq.

Tampa, Florida

Deputy Director of Plans, Policy and Strategy (J5) for Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) conducting operations throughout the US Central Command (USCENTCOM) AOR. Synchronizes, leads and supervises activities of four divisions encompassing Strategic Plans, Policy, Information Operations, and Strategy and Assessments Divisions. Responsible for ensuring Special Operations Forces (SOF) capabilities are integrated into all aspects of strategic and operational-level planning. Responsible for understanding the theater strategic environment and the political and military implications of SOF employment. Coordinates ongoing planning efforts with USCENTCOM and US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), and subordinate commands to ensure synchronization.

Herat, Afghanistan

Commanded a 20 man Security Force Assistance Team responsible for advising an Afghan Major General and a 2,500 man Afghan Border Police (ABP) Zone as an Operation Enduring Freedom enabler. Advised and mentored Afghan counterparts on all operational, training, and administrative staff functions. Tactically advised the Zone across three provinces and over 1200 Kilometers of international border between Afghanistan, Iran, and Turkmenistan. Developed the capacity and capability of the ABP to conduct independent border and counter-insurgency operations to improve security, governance, economic development, and the GIRoA legitimacy.

Served as the Assistant Chief of Staff for Force Integration for an Army Division Level Headquarters. Supervised, directed, coordinated, planned, and integrated force structure, force modernization, and strategic planning and programming for seven active duty and two national guard Special Forces Groups. Focused on organizational structure, acquisition, and strategic planning on the Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Joint and Army Vision Statements, Quadrennial Defense Reviews, while maintaining awareness of the Army Transformation objectives. Managed over 100 Army common and SOF unique programs worth over $150 million.

Served as the secretary of the general staff, U.S. Army Special Forces Command (Airborne), a division-equivalent command consisting of seven Special Forces Groups, each with 1,750 Soldiers. Functioned as executive officer and principal assistant to the Chief of Staff; helped direct and supervise all staff functions and track all internal staff tasking's. Managed all actions requiring attention of the command group. Facilitated coordination within the headquarters and with both subordinate and higher headquarters. Assumed many duties of the Chief of Staff during his absence.

Was responsible for the planning and implementation of tough, realistic, safe and METL based training to improve and maintain combat readiness of six Special Forces Operational Detachments. Responsible for the personnel administration and material readiness of the company in order to execute assigned missions.
