In 2010, IH Caffey and Cunningham Wholesale merged. At that time I was appointed General Sales Manager and was responsible for ensuring a smooth transition, conducting interviews and selecting appropriate department heads for the new organization. As General Sales Manager, I oversaw all aspects of the sales department for a 6.2 million-case/year distributor, with $100 million in gross sales. I empowered and led 9 direct and 70 indirect reports and managed a $2 million marketing budget for 22 product lines. During my tenure, I set sales and distribution goals and monthly sales objectives for 3 divisions, (On Premise, Convenience and Grocery) ultimately leading newly merged company to exceed industry sales figures by .5% and successfully launched a new brand to US selling ~25% of annual volume quota in 1st 30 days.
