With extensive experience in the gaming industry, I am passionate about creating and delivering high-quality, compelling, and user-friendly gaming experiences. As an Adjunct Faculty for the Advanced Games Project at USC Games, I teach QA principles, tools, and processes, and impart industry knowledge to the next generation of game developers. I value collaboration and a commitment to quality, and I strive to empower and inspire my students and colleagues to achieve excellence in their projects and careers.Prior to teaching, I was the QA Manager for the Game Innovation Lab, Interactive Media and Games Division, School of Cinematic Arts at USC, where I led the planning and organization of the QA process and team for high-profile special projects, including "Walden, a game," "The Night Journey," and "Walden EDU." I transformed the "Walden, a game" project by building a comprehensive bug database, identifying and cataloging 400 issues within three months, enabling the team to establish production velocity and set a target launch date. I also implemented a more efficient bug tracking and clearing process, leading to optimized resource allocation and product delivery. I leveraged my skills in software development, operational efficiency, and product delivery to ensure the quality and success of these innovative and award-winning games.Specialties include: black and gray box testing, manual testing, console Certification testing, player advocacy, localization testing, PC/Mac testing, and COPPA compliance.
