Creating an index and a template for manufacturing procedures. Writing manufacturing procedures for new project to produce products for the nuclear industry. Managing flow of procedures from draft, through signing to delivery to shop floor. Responsible for producing Quality Standards Reference Documents and collating evidence.

Reporting to the Site Co-ordinator, responsible for supervising and organising daily work within Automotive Quality inspection, for up to thirty inspectors, whilst managing customer quotas.Key Responsibilities• Keeping track of over thirty individual inspection jobs, of which 10% of which could be new or required to close every day.• Writing precise work instructions and detailed hazard assessments, within a tight timeframe.• Ensuring the customer does not occur any downtime waiting for items waiting for inspection • Auditing jobs to ensure the high accuracy of both the work and the record keeping.• Responsible for ensuring timesheets and jobs sheets are accurate and sent to the customer/head office in a timely manner.

Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager and responsible for creating process specifications and identifying the root cause of manufacturing issues. • Using root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues. Ranging from; component modification, supplier quality, equipment failure or staff training• Monitoring shop floor performance and improving labour efficiency levels and line reliability.• Designing, building & installing new test equipment• Proactively finding permanent solutions to solve long term issues. (Issues register- Excel)• Layout new and change existing cells to improve productivity (DMAIC)

 SAP ERP and MES Key User for Operations. Introduced OEE metrics to Production. Moved data collection from paper to Access Database collation.  SAP MES implementation, SmarTeam PDM and Change Management projects member. Using Lean and Agile methodologies across departments. Using and implementing various continual improvement methods. DMAIC. Supply chain analysis. Inventory Turnover Ratio, Kaizen,5S, etc.  Reviews, authorises and manages Manufacturing Build Instructions in ISO9001 Quality Management System (Q-Pulse), on behalf of Operations (Production Engineering and NPI).  Member of Control Change Board, which approves changes to existing products. (Over 40 in 2014). These changes may be a customer request, an internal requirement or a supplier component end of life warning. Approves new parts/sub-assemblies on behalf of Operations/NPI as part of the life cycle of new meters.  Responsible for producing a quarterly operation performance/quality review for up to twelve work centres in Operations.  Responsible for design of Production, Customer returns and Forecast Planning databases (MS Access, advanced SQL & VBA) (OEE calculation, customer returns statistics etc.)  Managed small team.
