Now four carefully selected acres—maximizing exposure, elevation, microclimates, varietal-specific soil conditions and terroir—are planted on our 135-acre Napa ranch. There, blocks of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre and Counoise come to life on steeply sloping hillsides overlooking green valleys, forests of native oaks, a herd of Black Angus cows, horses, sheep, chickens and a black swan named Zelda.
