Responsible for monitoring the growth, credit and performance of EverBank's Balance Sheet, including but not limited to the $12BB+ HFI position, $500MM Investment Securities portfolio and the $30.5BB Mortgage Servicing Rights portfolio. Position duties include: - Analyze and model residential mortgage portfolios including the current balance sheet as well as third party opportunities. - Coordinate with Analytics team to provide executive-level analysis and reporting of investment opportunities and asset performance. - Assist with Capital Markets’ asset growth forecasting process including: providing analysis of historical growth levels and variances to plan; and a working understanding of the departments and processes involved in producing the corporate forecast.- Develop strategies to maintain data integrity and workflow efficiency within Capital Markets and other departments. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of the department’s reports, processes, policies and procedures.- Conduct ad hoc research and reports for the Capital Markets Valuation team.- Work closely with Analytics team to synergistically deepen understanding and analysis of balance sheet assets and their valuation.- Conduct MSR portfolio valuations, interest rate shocks and cash flows forecasts in the MIAC WinOAS valuation model.- Prepare MSR portfolio reporting packages around valuation, interest rate risk and accounting.- Utilize SQL and VBA to automate portfolio reporting, calculations and analysis.- Act as a lead on ad hoc MSR projects and analysis.- Manage the Investment Securities position by monitoring the credit portfolio and cash flow metrics utilizing tools such as Intex, Bloomberg and Barclays Live model. Forecast cashflows for planning purposes and shock the portfolio at varying scenarios for the Risk Management team.
