Passionate about solving problems the world faces especially for the less privileged in developing countries. I have spent the last 10 years doing exactly this in the technology sector in Uganda. I am co-founder and CEO Laboremus Uganda, a Regtech providing customer information (KYC) verification services. I co-founded Emata a fintech providing credit to small holder farmers in Uganda. I also co-founded Refactory, a tech academy that prepares/polishes university/high-school graduates for professional work. I have played different roles in these companies including board member, CEO and CTO.Part of my experience in the different companies has been raising capital from investors (both equity and grants). This experience, I am applying to the Agricultural sector where financing is the biggest challenge affecting the quality of livelihoods for 1 billion people. If this is passion of yours, come!
