Sales Administration Supervisor
CurrentImplement and Administer Salesforce CPQ solution.Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Sales Administration staff; distribute and assign work as needed. Provide sales support to field sales team on complex quote configurations and produce quotes as needed. Interface with customers to gather pertinent information to complete quotes, bids, and request for proposals.Review quotes generated by department staff to confirm quote are complete, pricing is correct, and quote accurately conforms to internal policies prior to order acceptance.Cross-reference contracts, purchase orders and TNCs (terms and conditions) with JEOL quotes to verify that the SOIR (sales order installation report) accurately documents the agreement between JEOL and our customer.Proactively research questions and issues related to orders and follow up.Interact with Finance, Logistics, and Operations to resolve sales order related questions.Principal point of contact for third-party resellers of JEOL instruments and accessories.Conduct periodic review of third-party vendor pricelists to ensure current pricing is reflected on quotations.Customer liaison for special product configurations; prepare pricing data and communicate anticipated timelines.Responsible for Salesforce and Infor database audit, maintenance, and optimization including but not limited to routine updates of customer profiles, validation of sales leads, maximization of database output and report generation. Collaborate with IT as needed to support system configurations, rules and updates as required.Monitor government spend database for prospective sales leads and disseminate leads to field sales team as appropriate.Generate and distribute routine and custom reports detailing quotes, log ins, win/loss ratios, PO status, monthly commission and GPR.
