I have spent many years in economic development, marketing and business development roles. I am a consultant supporting companies in Brazil and South America. The opportunity in Brazil is large but must be well thought through as to the best business model to operate to achieve success. I have been in Sao Paulo for nearly 10 years and have considerable experience in helping companies develop their business in a range of industries. I speak Portuguese, have good networks and have an excellent understanding of the market. I worked in trade for the New Zealand Government for four years assisting companies from the Specialised Manufacturing, Food and Beverage and IT sectors. I organised Tradeshows for companies and assisted companies in market. I also have worked in regional economic development working for Development West Coast assisting both businesses and community groups develop opportunities whilst also managing the marketing requirements for the organisation. Marketing and sponsorship experience was further extended while working for the Fiji Rugby Union. Further in the past I was both a traveler and sportsperson. I have seen a lot giving me a great appreciation for the diversity of the world we live in. I have worked in the UK, Ireland, Portugal, Germany, and Fiji. I played rugby professionally in the past and I am very proud to have represented Portugal and to have become a national citizen of Portugal to add to my New Zealand background.
