Tim Rourke has 40+ years of experience in banking. In 1998 he founded and became President of BCI Financial Corporation. Previously, he worked on the management teams' of The Bank of New Haven, The Bank of Waterbury and Bank of Boston. BCI Financial was acquired in 2023 and is now a division of Ion Bank with Rourke as the division President..BCI Financial is an originator and servicer of prime quality automobile loans that are sold to Community Banks and Credit Unions throughout the Northeastern USA. The staff at BCI are experts in the auto finance area and work to assure a continued flow of high quality assets. Mr. Rourke has been very active in the non-profit area, currently as a board member of the Palace Theater in Waterbury CT. He was also a former member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, YMCA and Junior Achievement. He has also been on the Board of Directors of the Consumer Credit Association of CT and is a member of the Connecticut Community Bankers Association, The Vermont Bankers Association, The Massachusetts Bankers Association, The Connecticut Bankers Association and The Connecticut Auto Retailers Association. He is a graduate of Post University, holds numerous certificates through the American Institute of Banking (AIB) and holds a license as a producer of property and casualty and life insurance.
