About Tim Smith
I believe in improvement. This applies to me personally - I'm about as competitive as they come and I am never satisfied - but more importantly, I love to help others in their journey to improve. That is what has drawn me to coaching and working in youth sports.Second, I believe it is important for everyone to find a form of physical activity they enjoy. Tennis is one of my favorite forms of exercise (and competition), and I have loved helping young athletes develop within a game that will keep them active and healthy throughout their lives.

Athletics Marketing Intern
While I started as an intern, I finished that way in title only. After a few short months I was entrusted with nearly a full-time workload and several significant projects, including the implementation of a fan loyalty rewards program and app. Everything I did was with one primary goal: to provide a positive game day experience at all BYU athletic events by assisting with game day promotions, entertainment, and special ceremonies. While everything was certainly a team effort, these are the accomplishments I felt I played a significant role in producing:-My efforts led to a 10.6 percent increase in attendance at women's basketball games.-Through social media and campus marketing, I helped earn $110,000 in additional scholarship money for the athletic department by winning the NCAA 6th Fan Competition.-I created and executed marketing plans for women’s basketball, baseball, and the student section.
