Initially started to supplement my income whilst studying, as a Website Consultant I assist small to medium businesses set up and maintain their websites. I primarily use WordPress as choice of CMS however am experienced with Squiz Matrix, Joomla, Adobe Creative Suite, RedDot, TeamSite and Sharepoint. All of my work in this space is through word of mouth and a relatively small amount of online marketing. 20+ years experience with websites = I know what I'm doing!

Lead role in migration project for existing clients to transition to newer e-Learning technology. Managed some of the Business Partnerships as well as provided account management, implementation and business analysis services for new and existing clients.

Help existing clients get the most out of their Web CMS investment including ensuring SLAs were in place & renewed. Met target from existing clients for 2012 & 2013. Played a lead role in migrating a significant energy company to the Squiz Cloud. Managed a busy upgrade schedule of 20+ major system upgrades per annum. 40+ clients.Relieved as Regional Manager for Queensland (prior to completing my probation) and also National Support Manager.

I commenced my employment with QG as an IT Officer, providing IT training to Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service rangers. During this time I also carried out routine online publishing as well as being responsible for complex publishing (e.g. advanced online forms) and for maintaining in-house publishing systems. My technical expertise was utilised to educate clients in the use of Website statistics software.I worked for the Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries as their Intranet Manager carrying out all aspects of training and delivery of Intranet content. I implemented positive change in an ageing Intranet system that re-engaged teams.I was Team Leader of a busy Online Services Team with the Environmental Protection Agency. This entailed being responsible for streamlining online publishing processes and being the face of the team on various committees and advisory groups. I helped run the selection process for an enterprise content management system including assessing and ranking vendors according to our business requirements. I was responsible for 8 staff and relieved for the manager of the 20+ staff multimedia services unit. Was the point of contact for any emergency publishing for natural disasters across the state in any of the national parks.Following the Bligh machinery of Government in 2009, the team leader role was not extended, so my technical, people skills and extensive web knowledge were utilised as a Business Analyst for the newly formed Department of Environment and Resource Management. In the time that followed I was responsible for the release of several politically sensitive websites and online solutions. I was also responsible for consolidating old websites, web content and ensuring effective review of information architecture for the newly formed department.Prior to leaving QG my organisational and problem solving skills were utilised as a Change Manager for a strategic recordkeeping implementation project.

In my role as Senior Consultant I provided telephone support for ValueFinancials - financial reporting templates. I also developed a set of templates for the United Kingdom Channel Islands Investment Property clients.

Whilst taking a break from my studies I completed a Certificate 3 in Business (Office Administration) with the Association's Queensland branch. I provided Administration services for both the Medical recruitment section and the Realty that managed Doctor's investment properties.After completing the certificate I was appointed the Training Coordinator managing all aspects of scheduling, booking and marketing medical training for jobseekers through to Specialists. During this time I also managed several of the company's websites including amaq.com.au, amaqservices.com.au and amahealthexpo.com.au.
