Tim Wright is a Managing Director for GLP Capital Partners, providing leadership and connectivity across global functions to enable effective operations, strategic transformation, and growth across the GLP/GCP platform. He joined GLP Capital Partners in late 2022 with over 20 years of experience in the global alternative investment management industry and senior executive positions across corporate strategy and M&A, business operations, and principal investments. Prior to joining GCP, Tim was a co-founding partner of Acirfa Capital, LP, an alternative investment firm focused on tech-enabled insurance and investment management businesses across Africa. Tim previously served as Senior Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners and Head of Corporate Strategy for Guggenheim Investments, a $260 billion global asset management. Previously he served as Global Head of Strategy and Business Development for Deutsche Bank’s EUR 800bn asset and wealth management businesses, DWS Group, where he was a member of the Global Executive Committee and Global Operating Committee. Earlier in his career, Tim was a Principal at Capital Z Asset Management, where he led GP-stake investments in alternative asset managers, and an Associate of Longworth Venture Partners, where he invested in early-stage enterprise technology businesses.
