My wife, Abby, and I run our family's resort and retreat center. In the summer, we host families and groups for vacations. The other nine months, we host almost exclusively full-service leadership retreats, conferences and other groups of 10-200 people.This will be our life's work for decades to come, and we serve each guest with the hope and expectation of building a relationship that lasts just as long.

From hobby to career, Poker has taken me from Minneapolis to San Diego, around the world, and back to Minnesota.In 2011, Online Poker became illegal to play from within the United States. As a result, I decided to live abroad, in order to pursue a lifestyle of freedom and international travel. The pendulum swung back when, in June of 2018 (after 5 years abroad), my wife and I decided we had had enough of the one-way ticket lifestyle.Poker (though still very much stigmatized in certain areas) is something I'm very proud of, and am thankful to have pursued.
