I am an analytics professional experienced in applying quantitative analytics skills and qualitative business skills to solving data problems and creating data analytics products across a variety of fields.I have combined my experiences in requirements analysis, digital strategy, and project management with my quantitative analytics skills, to foster a dual skill set that amalgamates hard technical skills with soft qualitative communication skills.In my professional experience I have worn many hats - data analyst, technical communicator, IT consultant, visual data storyteller, dashboard application developer, and people analytics SME.These experiences have made me right and left brain ambidextrous and enabled me to tackle multi-disciplinary projects and across teams. Less concretely however, I know my professional value comes down to the following: • I generate new ideas. More importantly, I execute those ideas.• I bridge the communication gap between the "business people" and the "tech people."• I am an independent learner and am constantly looking to build my skill set.I currently work at Mastercard where I build people analytics capabilities with data focused on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), talent management, attrition, people location strategy, and diversity in tech.My professional interests include: analytics for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I); people analytics, analytics ethics; analytics justice and accessibility; UX design for analytics applications, tech education, and analytics product management.Outside of work, I like to travel (20+ countries so far), connect with my heritage by brushing up on my Italian and Sicilian language skills, and read non-fiction - primarily history books and books about the effects of data and tech in society.
