Defining and leading the architecture of the new Enterprise Integration Services (EIS) for Intuit's Ecosystem Platform. EIS is using leading web service technologies (Mule, CXF, REST, and SOAP) to deliver services that allow products to interact directly with Intuit's Enterprise Infrastructure from within Intuit's products. EIS is an orchestration-level platform that orchestrates between system like identity/profile systems and customer account/asset management systems taking system integration complexity out of individual products.Defining and leading the architecture of the Quickbooks Network (QBN). QBN includes such services as user authentication, user profile, billing and subscription, identity-based content delivery, and in-product telemetry.Regardless of the platforms worked on, I have championed the adoption of leading development tools that promote agility. This agility allows teams to rapidly make changes and adjust to changes in business direction while maintaining control of the quality of the code. Examples of these tools are Maven, Ant, Perforce, Git, Subversion, Nexus, TestNG, JMeter, Clover, Rally, TeamTrack, Hudson, Jenkins, CruiseControl, Eclipse, and IntelliJ although that is not an exhaustive list.

Managing the Quickbooks Network engineering team. A centralized web services team that develops and maintains services used by Quickbooks and other Intuit products.

Availant, a division of Lakeview Technology, designs, develops, and deploys high-availability and diaster tolerant solutions on open systems. We also co-develop availability products like HACMP for IBM's AIX operating system.

As the CTO of BuyerZone.com, I was focused on optimizing the technology organization for profitability as well as preparing our product for acquisition as a potential outcome for our company. Our goal was either to become profitable or to sell the company. Due to the high caliber and focus of our executive team as well as the execution of the technology organization, we had both options on the table towards the end of my tenure. I left BuyerZone.com with a technology organization that helped the company turn a profit within two months after my departure.
