Job was specifically created for me based on my interest in repairing, preserving, and maintaning classic and modern arcade equipment. Job responsibilities not only include diagnostics, assessment, and creative problem solving, but also retail operations, customer service, and many of the responsibilities of an assistant manager. Started job in 2014 as unpaid assistant, was given the responsiblities listed above within two months. Have continued working in this position whenever I have lived near the Ann Arbor area.

Participant in the JET Program, with responsibility for developing English-speaking classroom curriculum at three rural Japanese high schools. Responsibilities included: lesson planning and design, student assessment, individual tutoring and mentoring, speech contest preparation and judging, and extracurricular activity planning.

Wrote weekly anime episode reviews, and other articles aimed at exposing western readers to the best parts of Japanese anime and otaku culture.

Wrote a ~900 word weekly article, providing commentary on the state of video game design, culture, and the industry in general.

Was appointed to the System Administrator position for the Pomona College Computer Science Department during a time of crisis. Managed all student accounts, printing services, and job scheduling during this time, in addition to maintaining computer lab and server hardware. Performed these and other functions while pursuing a full-time computer science degree.
