- Previous position at North Pittsburgh Telephone was transitioned to this one when company was purchased by Consolidated Communications in January 2008.·Responsible for network architecture design and project implementation for various networks including: MPLS Core, Video Headend/IPTV, Internet, VoIP and Metro-Ethernet and also CMTS and cable networks.- Previously worked with initial engineering, design and implementation of Frame Relay, ADSL and ATM networks.- Although not a Unix Admin, I have worked extensively with Unix, Redhat and CentOS operating systems as part of the Video Network.- Lead various joint network design and implementation projects across multiple departments.- Recent projects include 10G multi-state MPLS Core network, 10G local core networks in PA, IL and TX markets, Fiber to the Node and Fiber to the Home implementation in PA, IPTV headend redesign for redundancy, Metro-Ethernet and Cell Site Backhaul product design including detailed product definition, equipment selection, configuration and lab testing- Developed Company wide QoS Standards for all data networks.·Developed detailed business case proposals for new services and equipment. ·Project management including: planning, RFP administration, vendor selection, network design, implementation and training for all data products and services. -Lead Network Engineering in consolidating data networks and Video headends and adding redundancy as CCI purchases new companies.·Lead Network and Outside Plant Engineering in the selection and implementation of a FTTN ADSL2+ and VDSL2 bases Access Network.
