I am responsible for managing the offshore delivery of qualifications for Box Hill Institute. We currently have 14 offshore partners in China, the Middle East and South East Asia.

In this role, I used my skills in people management, leadership, industry engagement and regulatory compliance. Managing a team of 15 industry professionals, I oversaw the delivery of class leading vocational education and training programs across the marketing, international trade and logistics fields.Placing a strong focus on change management and workforce development, I embedded a strong compliance framework and increased the online and flexible learning capabilities of the team. This included leading the delivery of a fully online Diploma of Logistics, and a blended Diploma of Marketing.Industry and student engagement are also key to this role. Building on a platform of Work-Integrated-Learning, and running regular consultation with industry and students means we deliver students with industry relevant education and clear skills to become productive members of the workforce.

The Australian Chamber of International Trade is a not for profit institution which was founded in Melbourne in 1956. We aim to promote the interests of all Australian business engaged in International Trade and provide a forum to build productive business relationships.ACIT is unique that it represents importers, exporters and freight businesses – as all three are pivotal to the development of a Country which is truly globally engaged. In my role as director, I volunteered my time in both an executive and operational capacity – providing both strategic direction and on the ground support to deliver services and opportunities to our members.

Austrade is the Australian Governments Trade and Investment promotion body which does amazing work promoting Aussie businesses to international markets and diligently works to attract FDI into Australia. Working with Austrade for approximately 5 years I held a number of roles – including working as an Export Adviser in the Clean Energy and Environment sector and an Adviser for the referrals process. As an Export Adviser I was able act as a conduit between Aussie businesses and Austrade’s rich international network of Australian Trade Commissioners and local professional business development experts. I had the pleasure of working with some great Aussie companies and some great people in Austrade’s overseas network.In my most recent role, I was in an executive level position which played a significant role in two key reform projects looking at how Austrade partners with other bodies, and how Austrade provides referrals to third parties. My unique ability to understand legal and regulatory issues, client needs, and practical business practices was pivotal in the development of a framework which is efficient, effective and still in use today.
