VALUE PROPOSITION:I can help you increase Customer Satisfaction while eliminating variability and reduce costs in the development of a Quality Product or Process. My passion is trying to improve things. It doesn’t matter if it involves a process improvement that saves a company money, a product improvement that meets a customers need or giving a shelter dog a walk to improve his daily routine.I have extensive experience in the Manufacturing Industry for both Medical Imaging equipment and Optics, along with the Food Service Industry. I have been involved with designs improvements that have resulted in the transition of multiple programs from Concept to Reality. My strengths are in Process and Procedural Documentation required for both ISO and FDA, Training, Cost Reductions, Inspection and Management. My background is wide based. I started out to be a Country Doctor, but was forced to drop out of school and support a family. I returned to school a few years later, and got AS degrees in Liberal Arts and Food Administration. I worked my way through college working for Wegmans, doing everything from Bag-Boy to Night Manager. I managed Restaurants, Nursing Home and Airport Food Service operations. I have an AAS in Optical Technology, and am a graduate of Kodak’s Optical Apprenticeship, where I spent many years supporting the transition of new products and technology from design to manufacturing, while maintaining cost and quality objectives. I was then transferred to the Health Group where I assumed even greater responsibilities, performing these duties with Medical Imaging Devices.I am passionate about all things related to animals and plan to spend my retirement years doing Pet Therapy work with my local Humane society, where I have volunteered for 12 years, doing anything to improve the animals lives.Specialties: Transitioning products from design to manufacturing, Process and Procedural Documentation, Training, Cost reduction, QC/Inspection, Benchmarking, Getting the Job done right the first time, with Integrity
