Countrywide plc is the UK’s largest property services group. As Head of People, I partnered with the Managing Director for the UK Retail division, overseeing the development and execution of the people strategy for Countrywide’s extensive branch network (comprising 6,000 employees across 700 branches). In this newly established role, I led a team of People Business Partners to build robust partner relationships, ensuring the provision of commercially focused guidance and strategic coaching to the senior leadership team. My responsibilities included driving organisational development initiatives and designing performance-based bonus schemes for senior leaders to align their objectives with business goals, fostering a high-performance culture.
