Born and raised in suburban Pittsburgh (Coraopolis, Pa.), life's twists and turns fortunately landed me in south central Pa. as a program coordinator for the Leukemia Society. I was responsible for recruiting volunteers, fundraising and public relations in 17 counties - generating well over a half million dollars for research and patient care.I joined the Independent Insurance Agents of PA in 1993 as Education Director responsible for developing and maintaining an educational calendar and working with volunteer agents to provide the training needs of members.I was elevated to the position of Executive Vice President in 1999 with authority over all aspects of the association and service corporation. I grew the association’s professional liability program and created a premium finance company owned by our members.I guided the IIAP through merger discussions with the PIA of PA, MD & DE which eventually led to the creation of the Insurance Agent & Brokers in 2003.I now manage our membership, governance activities, and member input programs. I thoroughly enjoy interacting with independent agents. I work each and every day to make sure the IA&B remains relevant to our members so they can sustain and advance their operations.I reside in Mechanicsburg, Pa with my wife, Connie and have two grown children Rachel and Matthew . I am an avid fan of all sports but am most passionate about my Steelers and Pirates.
