First official day in post as part of the Membership Engagement Team is Tuesday 19th.

I was primarily responsible for arranging the company’s summer school programme of event days called MedicFest. This toured around the country in different towns and cities, over the school summer holiday period and beyond into the Autumn and half term breaks. My role was to forge relationships with school senior leadership to enable us to use their venues, so that Medical Mavericks team could host and deliver the event to paying attendees and their families, helping to meet Medical Mavericks aims and mission.MedicFest increased the company’s reach, relationships and future income pipeline from their term-time workshops. My brief, and challenge, was to use a bursary-exchange offer as a way of engaging schools who have not previously ever made bookings and/ or those who have not engaged in the previous two or more years. I delivered on this challenge using my tried and proven relationship building skills, enabling me to meet targets and deliver with impact.Medical Mavericks delivered over 25 of these events over the School summer holiday period in 2024, thus creating a clear pipeline of future engagement & company income through my building of strong, tested & trusted relationships. I was also responsible for on-the-day event management and overseeing the delivery team which included risk management agile trouble shooting with paying customers in a sensitive and responsive way.

I was the ‘Routes+Shoots’ (education outreach team) Lead at Farm Urban, and a member of the Snr Leadership Team. Farm Urban's (a leading social enterprise) mission is to make cities greener, healthier and more inclusive spaces. Routes+Shoots, through its programmes & activities, worked towards these goals with Schools, Colleges & Universities. I also managed a range of relationships across various sectors representing the business and its wider offer.I wrote the strategy for Routes+Shoots that aligned with, & served, the whole business’ mission. I led the team that designed & delivered Farm Urban's Education offer nationally to Schools, Colleges & Universities. Under my leadership the Routes+Shoots offer consisted of three core programmes; a primary programme, a secondary programme and an online-remote offer. Plus visits, farm tours, assemblies, hands-on workshops, placements & events offers to all settings. Routes+Shoots offers were...FUTURE FOOD CHALLENGESecondary school STEM-Enterprise 8 week programme for Yr 8 or 9 pupils with an online platform to support teachers & pupils on the programme journey. FUTURE FOOD HEROESPrimary school 6 week programme. For Yr5 pupils with the same teacher support and access to an online platform supporting both pupil's and teacher's journey through the programme.FUTURE FOOD FESTIVALOnline remote offer, delivered via immersive video content. Content can be viewed weekly, monthly or all at once at teachers' own discretion. Can be used as a stand-alone offer or as a teaser for engagement with other programmes.EVENTS, FARM TOURS & VISITSAs well as the core programmes R+S did presence at events giving those who attended a taster and insight into the work Farm Urban do, the reasons why and our wider impact purpose & goals. R+S hosted tours at the vertical farm. Visitors could see FU's hydroponic growing of nutritious leafy greens in a sustainable & efficient way in the heart of Liverpool & get to taste our produce!

Collective Impact Charity organisation delivering real & meaningful place based change that improves educational opportunities & facilitates developing potential for every child & young person.I managed three programmes engaging schools and multi agency stakeholders in the town of Blackpool. Working with school senior leaders, commissioning funders at Local Govt, Opportunity Area and DfE, alongside external intervention partners and experts to achieve sustainable system change for good. The themes of the three programmes were...- Improving KS3 Literacy- Promoting inclusion and inclusive practice, using Trauma Informed and Nurturing approaches, to reduce exclusions- Addressing the NEET issue by the ongoing support of an identified cohort of young people who are most at risk of becoming NEET toward positive and sustained transition into post-16 destinations as well as work addressing system change issues

I managed a region-wide portfolio of events delivered to school aged students, with business sponsorship & other funder support, that inspired young people into STEM futures & careers. Including an annual large scale event (10,000+ attendees) at a major exhibition centre. This was a strategic contribution to meeting the UK's STEM skills shortfall.My responsibilities were 'end-to-end' event & engagement management; generating attendee participation, selling sponsorship to businesses & cultivating stakeholder relationships, all venue & production logistics, live event management, floor plan design, contractor procurement, budget oversight, risk management, comms & promotion, reporting to funding bodies & contract management...plus everything else in between!I thrive on the challenge of instigating & developing mutually reciprocal relationships to deliver quality & purposeful interactions. In this post I honed my stakeholder & account management skills with major clients as well as my event production skills with high profile events in this role, increasing revenue, engagement, reach & profile year on year in post.

I managed the Main Stage at award winning music festival Bearded Theory. This entailed all production scheduling, risk and emergency procedure management and artist/management liaison. Plus, supervision of crew & liaison with audio, lighting & staging contractors.

Touring guitar & backline technician with experience at arena, theatre, major festival & live TV working with established & elite artists.

I designed & developed a range of enrichment & extra-curricular events, activities, opportunities & interventions (for 16-19 aged students) that enhanced and added value to students' experiences & achievements. Everything from the social, work-related & sporty!I led on the service re-design & re-brand of the team. Integrating online, digital & social tools into systems & processes that engaged the young person more directly & created efficiencies for staff. I oversaw our communications & promotion to students to generate increased & meaningful participation.I also co-designed & implemented a new, college-wide, student representation system that enabled & empowered students to have a voice that brought about real change, achieved key policy aims & mirrored the institution's organisational structures & values.

I designed and delivered outdoor pursuits sessions e.g. rock climbing, kayaking, team building and initiative challenges to a diverse client base including schools, colleges, corporate clients, charities and public bodies on a seasonal, freelance basis.

I provided short & medium term teaching cover in a range of educationestablishments & environments, including secondary, primary & SEND schools.

I managed a caseload of pupils with identified barriers to learning, developing tailored intervention and support to overcome these barriers promoting achievement and wellbeing. Including liaison with appropriate agencies, including for example Child Protection Service.

I planned and delivered targeted literacy sessions to small groups of pupils.
