• Redesigned a portion of the GUI in the FemBuilder application to take advantage of Object Oriented design principles. Resulted in less code that is easier to maintain and enhance.
• Developed architecture for a new program called the Synthetic Flaw Editor. Modified an existing program called NDEViewer to include the needed functionality for the Synthetic Flaw Editor.
• Define the requirements to be implemented from the approved proposal.
• Define and implement algorithms required to create a synthetic flaw in an existing NDE image.
• Added code to a program called FemBuilder that allows it to use the interface for Abaqus.

• Designed the interface between the GUI layer, which used the Solipsys Tactical Framework (TDF), and the subsystem interface. This allowed the subsystem interfaces to display the vital information needed by the user in.
• Worked directly with the Human Factors group to design the user interface look and feel.
