- Lead a team of three to design and build a process within the Electronic Enrollment System to track Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN) for legacy Coventry Federal Benefit Plans -- over 300,000 members. This included the design of new Oracle database tables, creation of new SOA based web services using Hibernate to access and update the database. Also designed and developed a Java batch process to perform an initial load of EIN data from Office of Personnel Management (OPM). - Developed a new Web application to aid in the matching of member enrollment records; which reduced the amount of time needed to manually match member records by over 20%. This Netbeans developed application was written in Java using JSF 2.0 and Primefaces; and deployed on a Glassfish Web server. Leveraged my prior Java knowledge to learn Netbeans, JSF 2.0, Primefaces and Glassfish with little training or direction. Application was developed and delivered on time without incident. - Performed quarterly release coordinator activities for enrollment team; which involved creating the software deployment plan and working with 6 other teams to plan and execute the deployment within the prescribed release window time frame.
