I am TI The EYE a newly licensed Independent Insurance Adjuster and Property Inspector serving Northeastern Illinois counties of Ford, Grundy, Iroquois, Kankakee, and Will. I retired from the federal government in November 2020, at the height of the COVID - 19 pandemic. After serving 20+ years enforcing civil rights employment law, being a police officer, deputy sheriff, security officer and serving 10 years in the US Army I decided to work for myself and run a business. So, in April 2021, after a short rest, I began EEO Consultants LLC and started property inspections. Shortly thereafter I yearned for a little more professionalism. I attended AHIT, American Home Inspector Training and received my Home Inspector License in November 2021 and TI Home Inspection LLC was born. To help fund my Home Inspectors business, I began The Eye Notary LLC as a certified Notary and Loan Signing agent. Something was missing. I wasn’t helping in a more meaningful way. Then a friend introduced me to Independent Adjusting and I fell in love. A totally new industry that can tap into my ability to create, understand and handle processes and further utilize my investigative skills. My first step was to get trained. October 2022, I completed my Indiana pre-licensing course with Adjuster Pro and received my Indiana DHS License in November 2022. I went with Indiana as my DHS because the State is right next to Illinois and it matches Florida and Texas as far as licensing. I then went after my Kentucky, Texas, Michigan and Florida licenses. I plan to handle Auto claims in the field both daily and CAT. I am experienced with automobiles. As a youth I graduated from Job Corps Auto Mechanic’s program and I have worked on my own automobiles all my life. I am very familiar with every aspect of autos and some heavy equipment from my stint in the military. I am very much interested in auto adjusting opportunities. I continue to provide Property Inspections for the Insurance, Finance and Banking industry in conjunction with Notary work. Property inspections include but are not limited to occupancy verifications, condition inspection, loss mitigations, scoping, sketching, photographing/video of both residential and commercial properties.
