I build rosters and checklists for our Marvel Publishing trading cards. From Spider-Man and the X-Men all the way to Man-Thing and the Defenders, my day is spent inside the Marvel Universe!

Depending on the class and program, students between the ages of 13 and up are taught• Plotting and dialogue• Fundamentals of characterization• Comics History• Working as a team• The importance of deadlines• Helping the students to embrace their ideas and have fun putting their stories together

• Managed store activities from accounting logs, inventory processing and management, pre-orders, and payroll. Register duties including, but not limited to, customer checkout.• Provided excellent customer service with an emphasis on toy & pop-culture history and trained staff to do likewise. Trained staff to understand high paced sales and effective up-selling• Provided high quality customer service and assistance with any and all questions.• Managed and maintained our booth at DesignerCon, Midsummer Scream• Managed staff for off-site events during San Diego Comic Con• Maintained our social media presence on Instagram• Wrote press releases and biographies for action figure lines including New Japan Pro Wrestling, Major Wrestling Figure Podcast, Good Brothers, and Andre The Giant• Consulted on action figure lines including New Japan Pro Wrestling, Major Wrestling Figure Podcast, Good Brothers, and Andre The Giant

• Processed art, wrote text, and maintained inventory between the Gallery and the owners of the art• Provided tours and discussions on the Gallery, IDW, and comics as a whole for attendees of all kinds including schools of all grade levels and comics professionals• Maintained an array of product from IDW Publishing on the sales floor at all times. Register duties including, but not limited to, customer checkout• Coordinated and ran all meet & greets/signings with a wide range of talent in comics including, but not limited to Kevin Eastman, Jim Lee, Stan Sakai, Gabriel Rodriguez, Sara Richard, and Howard Chaykin• Regularly updated the Gallery web page through WordPress for each new exhibit and maintained our social media presence on Facebook and Twitter via Sprout Social
