I also have represented Big Four and regional accounting firms and individual accountants in professional malpractice actions, breach of contract actions, and SEC and state regulatory investigation.My experience includes litigating complex business matters in state and federal courts, defending clients in SEC and state enforcement investigations, directing clients’ responses to subpoenas, and counseling clients before litigation has been filed. I engage in all phases of civil litigation in federal and state courts, including motion practice, class certification, oral arguments, depositions, witness interviews, expert reports, trial and arbitration preparation, mediation and settlement negotiations, and appeals. I have managed litigation teams, expert witnesses, and legal assistants in connection with class certification and merits discovery, preparation of complex motions, legal research, large-scale document reviews and production, and trial preparation. I also have experience with regulatory compliance matters and with contract drafting and negotiation.I have been successful at building productive relationships with clients and professional colleagues.
