I am currently in my final year at the University of the Cumberlands, pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling. As I approach the completion of my academic journey, I am eager to embark on my practicum experience and continue my mental health and counseling journey.My professional background includes invaluable experiences that have deepened my understanding of mental health and well-being. As an Employment Specialist, I was privileged to assist individuals facing mental health diagnoses and physical disabilities in their pursuit of meaningful employment. I further honed my skills as a supervisor for Individual Placement and Support (IPS) programs, supporting individuals with substance use disorders and mental health diagnoses to secure employment and access vital resources.In addition to direct client support, I also have a strong foundation in the administrative aspects of behavioral health. I managed billing and coding operations for private behavioral health practice, ensuring smooth financial processes while upholding the highest standards of care.My passion for mental health advocacy and holistic well-being drives me to seek opportunities to impact the lives of individuals and communities positively.
