$1 Billion International Financial Services Company, San Diego (Contractor for Robert Half Management Resources)-Managed a cross-functional transformation team of consultants designing and writing operational and technical policies and procedures for the accounting and finance departments. -Developed and mapped current state including functional workflows and designed the best practices for future state. -The primary objective was to identify “gaps” for transitioning to best practices and working with functional area managers to adopt the best practices. -Conducted an analysis of the company’s ERP system and recommended upgrades to specific areas that were not operating efficiently.

-Sensor development and manufacturing company (Start-up).-Managed and directed all the day to day financial and operational activities including establish third party contract manufacturer.-Established and implemented company’s initial accounting system with upgrade to MS Dynamics GP. Consumer and Enterprise Electronics Manufacturer and Distributor.-Managed and directed all day to day financial and operational activities of this $40 million designer, manufacturer and distributor of consumer electronics, including data storage and PC peripherals and electronic and non-electronic accessories for tablets and smartphones.-Lead the company to its first year of profitability in the company’s history in my second year of managing company. -Streamlined all financial reporting systems to provide timely and accurate management reports.-Refocused marketing and sales direction to company’s core competency and began an OEM partner model which lead to profitability.-Implemented a program to scale the company to its revenue base.

Enterprise Storage Manufacturer.-Directed the overall reorganization of this $50 million manufacturer and developer of enterprise data storage hardware and software.-Reduced operating losses from $20 million annual to a cash flow break even in 18 months.-Initiated and directed the selection of a contract manufacturer that decreased the company's total operating costs by 70%, reduced actual product cost by 60% and simultaneously increased product gross margins by 300%.-Refocused marketing and sales direction to company's core technology competency and moved from a direct end user sales model to an OEM partner model.-Renegotiated contracts with key customers for products sold at losses to prices that achieved minimum profitability objectives.-Structured a just in time inventory purchasing system to maximize company's resources.-Negotiated settlements with creditors saving more than $3 million dollars in the first six months.-Completed implementation of a company wide information system.
