We transformed the operations of the entirety of the banking and of the insurance divisions within the AXA Group Lean Transformation program according to McKinsey’s lean transformation methodology. The name of the game was to engender change that sticks and doesn’t reset after the program is over. During this 2-year transformation I led the team responsible for reaching long term goals and for the development of the leadership team. I learned first-hand what kind of power plays unfold around such a transformation and I supported leaders along this tumultuous period. I helped different teams through team coaching to prepare them for their individual and team level responsibilities and enable them to drive their own solutions within the transformation.
