Selected for assignment to Doha, Qatar. Security Package Manager for the Perimeter Security Enhancement Project for the New Doha International Airport. Responsible for Security Systems design, Integration Development, Supervision of staff Engineers and review of drawings and documents for project development and compliance. Project included development of and integration into overall Airport Security Program and standards for International Aviation Security. Systems included IP Network, Ground and Marine Radars, Access Control, CCTV, Thermal Imaging, Video Analytics, Fence and seismic detection, License Plate Readers, Under Vehicle scanning, BMS and Fire Detection. Systems Integrated into Signal Platform using Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software.

Review and design security systems, provide CAD drawings from system overview to point-to-point wiring and all construction related documentation needed to plan, install and commission systems for our clients.  Provided technical expertise of security system to our clients. Inspected and provided written direction and assessments of existing systems for migration to new or more efficient systems.  Technical project lead for security projects in US and Canada for a major oil, gas and chemical refiner. Provide Low Voltage, Power Management, and Thermal Management for Security Projects. Additionally provide design support for alternate energy solutions for low voltage systems.  Worked with Clients to design private IP networks for security systems using Wired, Wireless, and Fiber optics.  Responsible for making equipment recommendations based on clients existing systems or Security Assessment report. Working with the client to make the system meet budget constraints as well as policy and company ideology.

 Responsible for providing advice, assistance, oversight and management of specialized security system. Conduct Physical Security Surveys, Threat Assessments, Risk Analysis and inspections and provide security solutions at existing and proposed locations for our clients.  Identify physical security deficiencies and threats, provide advice for corrective actions, determine new or enhanced requirements, and provide support for new operations (i.e., building/architectural alterations, new construction, renovation, access control, CCTV, alarm systems, etc.) Identify and investigate security problem areas or incidents, analyze local threat data, and make recommendations for our clients that meet the threat data and financial restraints.  Review contracts for security requirements, equipment, and/or installation criteria; facility access issues; and protection of sensitive information or facilities. Provide inspections of and during construction for code and contract compliance.  Review and write specifications for our client’s security projects.
